Kodak Black Has Been Released From Jail
Pompano Beach, Florida rapper Kodak Black was released from jail this morning (June 5th) after completing a life skills course that covered domestic violence, parenting, financial management, and more.
The Sniper Gang artist was sentenced to one year in jail for violating his house arrest and has been locked up since February 28th. He was released this morning after making a plea to Judge Michael Lynch stating,“depending on the outcome of this, it could be the beginning of my career, or the end of my career.”
Kodak is now at home after serving 97 days of his 364 day sentence, although he will remain on house arrest and will require permission from his probation officer if he wishes to work outside of his home, even in Florida.
Kodak Black’s debut album Painting Pictures was released in March of this year via Atlantic Records and peaked at the third position on Billboard’s Top 200 chart with the help of his hit single “Tunnel Vision.”
